Abilene Association of REALTORS®
Live property search from a legacy RETS feed, zero errors
Abilene's previous website was a GrowthZone build. The membership side of their operation wasn't the problem — the public website was. We replaced the website and left the rest alone, then connected it to an MLS feed running on a standard that was formally retired years ago.
Visit Abilene Association of REALTORS®The Abilene Association of REALTORS® serves real estate professionals across West Texas. Their WordPress and GrowthZone site was hard to update, and much of the content members needed was locked inside PDFs.
We rebuilt the public site on TaliCMS with a Nuxt front end: REALTOR®, brokerage and affiliate directories, events and classes, market stats, member benefits, careers and a member digest. Agent and office rosters sync from Tangilla. Member resources sit behind the MLS credentials members already have, via Clareity single sign-on, so nobody got a new password.
Before cutover we crawled and archived the entire existing site — every page, document and link — and mapped old addresses to new ones so bookmarks, newsletter links and search results kept working. After launch we re-crawled and checked every link and asset.

The Work
Property search on a retired standard
Abilene's MLS (NTREIS) runs on RETS. Digest auth, session-based transport, a compact record format, a documented login endpoint that no longer resolves, and timestamps in US Central with no offset. None of it is in a spec. The first full sync brought across 82,937 listings, nearly two million photo references and open houses on 4,943 properties in 64 minutes, with zero errors.
Directories that maintain themselves
REALTOR®, brokerage and affiliate directories fed from the Tangilla roster, so the public directory reflects actual membership without staff editing records.
Member resources behind existing credentials
Broker resources, Supra and Matrix guides and member-only documents gated by Clareity SSO using the MLS login members already have.
Content out of the PDFs
Strategic plan, member benefits, board and staff, foundation and community outreach pages rebuilt as real pages instead of downloads, structured so staff can keep them current.
A clean migration
Full crawl and archive of the old site, URL mapping and redirects, and PDFs and images rehosted off the retiring WordPress and GrowthZone domains.

Results
Abilene now has a public site their staff can actually run — directories, events, member resources and live property search, all editable without raising a ticket — while their membership operation carried on unchanged.
82,937 listings. 64 minutes. Zero errors. From a data standard most vendors won't touch.
